"Animated Armour II" - Ink and marker on Stonehenge cotton paper - I was invited to take part in a group exhibition in Tampa next month (more details to come), so I happily sent this original drawing off to the Sunshine State! I am going to double dip with this one and also submit it to the new Instagram account @the.peoples.page for this months "Medieval" prompt from the SUPER talented @henry_boon_ 🙃 - I've been wanting to experiment more lately but I'm having trouble breaking out of my usual process. This piece is, however, a small step in a new direction - I used a lot less grey to create depth/form and a lot more colour layering to hopefully add some more interesting dimension and more saturation (some of which my pedestrian scanner unfortunately can't pick up)! - As always, thank you all for your continued support, thank you to my new followers and thank you if you made it all the way to the end of this caption! 😗✌️🤠

A cover design I did after watching the 2018 horror/drama film "Hereditary" which I pretended was a book 👑🐦👻😱 - I haven't been posting a lot lately but I have been cracking down on some research around what it takes to get started in the freelance/small business world 👍 - One piece of advice I came across was once a pretty common practice for me - give yourself assignments that reflect the type of work you'd like to be hired for! This is one of those!

It's been a tough go at productivity and creativity for me this last little while - I feel like I've said this before 🙄. But I'm really starting to think about changes I need to make in order to reach some of my goals in the next ten years. Good to be back! Thank you to everyone who sticks around and supports me, even through those long, silent months 💙✌️
